Vitra Woonbeurs 2013

In this post I like to share the photo's from the Vitra stand on the dutch interiorfair Woonbeurs. I was a bit surprised when I saw this booth because I haven't seen Vitra a lot on dutch fairs. Lovely to see a base of green where a selection of classics from Vitra are displayed. This year the Alcove Plume sofa has been launched designed by Ronan & Erwin Bourcoullec. I really like this coral red colour and the sofa styled together with the Slow chair and Grasshopper lamp is a good match. Did you see the Standard chair in natural tones? The wooden Stool designed by Ray & Charles Eames always catches my eyes. I try to take a photo from another angle, what do you think? I definately love the little train driving around the Lounge chair (Charles & Ray Eames) where all the little miniatures of the furniture where displayed. Did you spot this little train also?

Hay store is now open in Amsterdam!

Yes! It's true, HAY STORE AMSTERDAM has opened their doors today! At the end of this morning I was so honored to be the first ( I guess) to make some snapshots in this new store already to share this on my blog. So here it is! What an amazing open space to display all the gorgeous design of the Hay collection. Included the About a Chairs I'm totally in love with ( more about this later). They styled the store with the lamps of Lightyears what makes the scandinavian look complete. 

The big store with two entrances ( Nieuwezijds voorburgwal & Spuistraat ) invites you to enjoy the Danish design. You can try the chairs and sofa, available with different upholstery or matching cushions in a various of fabrics from Kvadrat in beautiful colours. Officially the Hay Store will be openend the end of october. Beside the store there will be also a bakery and cafe ( De Koffiesalon ) opening soon, located in the same space. The initators Esther and Paulien (Also the owners of Friday next Amsterdam) did a great job, congratulations with your new store! House Doctor, award for the best looking stand on Maison et Objet 2013

My last blog after my visit at Maison et Objet Paris last week is about House Doctor. This Danish brand presents their new Moments collection 2013 beside their Everyday collection. Oh how I love these products and furniture. With a large productrange you can add some House Doctor vitamins in every room in your house and that's what makes House Doctor a good brand for me. When I want to use styling for a private home or photography I always think about the products of House Doctor. Because they have good basics but also every products has their own charm. When I was walking in this huge stand on the fair I saw some nice products I really like, and I would love to work with this products for some autumn and christmas shoots. ( Don't you think the coloured cushions and rugs are amazing!) Soon I'll tell you more about some nice d.i.y. and stylingcorners with this new products of House Doctor. And a really nice fact before you enjoy the photo's below, House Doctor won the award for best looking stand on Maison et Objet fair, congratulations! They deserve it! What do you think?

Maison et Objet 2013 : Muuto

 

After visiting the Ethnic Chic hall on Maison et Objet I went to hall 8 where some of my favourite Dutch and Danish design brands where located. To start with Muuto, when i walked to this stand the Unfold lamps in mint green directly catched my eyes. Wauw! I just love these new colours and Im already thinking about buying one of these lamps for my home office! Also the elevated vase looks great and will soon be displayed on my desk :)

The new 70/70 table, designed by TAF Architects, is available in four colours; white, grey, mint green and black. I love the new colour pallette Muuto is working with. The big Under the bell lamp looks also gorgeous, i would advice this in a future office project. Im curious what you think about this collection, what's your favourite item?
