Conceptstore 33 rue Majorelle in Marrakech

So nice I can share these photo's with you I made from 33 Rue Majorelle in Marrakech. I visited this store during my holiday in Marrakech and fell in love with the style, the atmosphere and beautiful products. In front of the famous Majorelle gardens you can find this concept created by Monique Bresson. In this store you can find the designs of many Moroccan designers and brands. I love the combination of the industrial atmosphere and the traditional Moroccan style. You can also find a juicebar here called Kaowa where you can have a delicious smoothie and shop some beautiful kitchen accessoiries from Chabi Chic. A must visit when you're in Marrakech!

Couleur Locale in Knokke-Heist

Last week I was in Knokke-Heist in Belgium for an appointment for a new interiordesign assignment for a private home. After this great meeting I visited the centre of Knokke-Heist where I found this Couleur Locale shop! The day before the new webshop got online with beautiful photo's by talented friend Paulina. When I walked into the store I feel really comfortable, relaxed atmosphere and the most beautiful products. All the products you find here has their own story and come from all over the world. And what do you think about these amazing colours in the happy lights, I want to have some for my new home! I love their quote 'Bring the world into your home'. Hay store is now open in Amsterdam!

Yes! It's true, HAY STORE AMSTERDAM has opened their doors today! At the end of this morning I was so honored to be the first ( I guess) to make some snapshots in this new store already to share this on my blog. So here it is! What an amazing open space to display all the gorgeous design of the Hay collection. Included the About a Chairs I'm totally in love with ( more about this later). They styled the store with the lamps of Lightyears what makes the scandinavian look complete. 

The big store with two entrances ( Nieuwezijds voorburgwal & Spuistraat ) invites you to enjoy the Danish design. You can try the chairs and sofa, available with different upholstery or matching cushions in a various of fabrics from Kvadrat in beautiful colours. Officially the Hay Store will be openend the end of october. Beside the store there will be also a bakery and cafe ( De Koffiesalon ) opening soon, located in the same space. The initators Esther and Paulien (Also the owners of Friday next Amsterdam) did a great job, congratulations with your new store! Bloggersmeeting met Modenus en Eigen Huis en Interieur bij Hutspot Amsterdam

Het is inmiddels alweer 1,5week geleden dat ik werd uitgenodigd door 30smagazine om naar een bloggersbijeenkomst te komen in Hutspot, Amsterdam. Via Modenus zijn er 12 Amerikaanse bloggers uitgenodigd om een BlogTourCNG te doen naar de IMMCologne beurs in Keulen. Daarbij organiseerde Eigen Huis en Interieur een inspiratietour door Amsterdam waarbij de Amerikaanse bloggers kennis maakten met de design hotspots van onze hoofdstad. Als afsluiter was er een borrel bij Hutspot, waar ik, samen met een aantal andere Nederlandse bloggers ook voor uitgenodigd was. Hutspot is een inspirerende (nieuwe) conceptstore in hartje Amsterdam waar wonen, fashion, art en food gecombineerd worden. Tassen van Royal Republiq, laarsen van Mexicana, kunstwerken van De grote 8, vintage meubelen van Six and Sons en accessoires van Keet Styling.

Cotton Cake, white and industrial in Amsterdam

Het is vrijdag, de werkweek zit er bijna op. Hebben jullie al leuke plannen voor het weekend? Een bezoekje aan Cottoncake in Amsterdam is zeker een aanrader. Van de week had ik een creatieve brainstorm met vriendin Mariette ( From Africa with love) en we besloten te lunchen op een plek waar we nog niet zijn geweest, dat werd Cottoncake. Wat een prachtige ruimte! Nu ben ik heel gevoelig voor ruimtes met prachtig licht... (dan droom ik weg van een studio die er zo uit ziet waar ik de hele dag mooie reportages kan stylen en fotograferen......). Cottoncake is een winkel, lunchroom en gallery in één. Kleding, eten, boeken en kleine woonaccessoires van merken als Mimi et Toi, P.A.P Sweden, Taschen Books, Beck Söndergaard, mbyM, Penn&Ink en House Doctor.
