Hay store is now open in Amsterdam!

Yes! It's true, HAY STORE AMSTERDAM has opened their doors today! At the end of this morning I was so honored to be the first ( I guess) to make some snapshots in this new store already to share this on my blog. So here it is! What an amazing open space to display all the gorgeous design of the Hay collection. Included the About a Chairs I'm totally in love with ( more about this later). They styled the store with the lamps of Lightyears what makes the scandinavian look complete. 

The big store with two entrances ( Nieuwezijds voorburgwal & Spuistraat ) invites you to enjoy the Danish design. You can try the chairs and sofa, available with different upholstery or matching cushions in a various of fabrics from Kvadrat in beautiful colours. Officially the Hay Store will be openend the end of october. Beside the store there will be also a bakery and cafe ( De Koffiesalon ) opening soon, located in the same space. The initators Esther and Paulien (Also the owners of Friday next Amsterdam) did a great job, congratulations with your new store! Interieurtrends 2013 en woninginrichting inspiratie | Kies voor koper en zwart in je interieur

In de maand februari ben ik begonnen met de trendpost, dit is een blogpost waarbij ik de interieurtrends voor 2013 op mijn eigen wijze laat zien door middel van moodboards, producten en inspiratie. In februari liet ik de trend Green and Bamboo al zien, een frisse sfeer met groen en houtaccenten, sluit heel goed aan bij het aankomende voorjaarsweer. 

Styling with white and woods

In mijn projecten vind ik het belangrijk dat kleur en materiaal samen een verhaal vertellen. Of dit nu voor de inrichting van een woning is, een binnenkijker of styling van een evenement. Bij elk project probeer ik een goede balans te vinden waarbij een beeld 'spreekt'. Zelf vind ik de combinatie wit met hout en cognac prachtig. Wit zorgt voor een rustige basis waarin het hout en cognac mooi tot hun recht komen.
