Binti Home Collection in de Vtwonen én nieuwe kelims

Ik ben erg dankbaar als ik een vermelding van Binti Home ergens zie. Deze maand staan de linnen kussens en het geweven kelim in de nieuwste Vtwonen als één van de 13 favorieten van artdirector Marlon Zwier. Woonaccessoires van mint en turquoise

De kleur mint en turquoise is al een langere tijd een kleur die je veel terug ziet. De kleur kan gecombineerd worden met andere pastelkleuren voor een zachte uitstraling. Als je het mintgroen en turquoise combineert met wit en grijs krijg je juist een frisse setting. Wat heeft jouw voorkeur? Stylingtip voor het gebruik van kleur

Als ik bezig ben met de styling van een ruimte of object vind ik het fijn om een mix te maken van producten. Bijvoorbeeld bij het stylen met woonaccessoires zorg ik voor een mix in materiaal, vorm en grootte. Ook varieer ik met de kleur maar probeer ik wel een balans te vinden. Zo is het goed om bijvoorbeeld twee of drie basiskleuren uit te kiezen en dan hier op te variëren met verschillende tinten. Samen geeft dit een warm en sfeervol geheel.

 

Greentrend

Grijsgroen, grijs en wit zijn de perfecte combinatie voor een warm en puur interieur. Het gebruik van groen, planten en elementen uit de natuur is de trend van nu. Copper Orange & Black in de webshop

Copper Orange trendkleur

Volgens Akzonobel is Copper Orange dé trendkleur voor 2015. Tijdens de styling voor de perspresentatie van het trendboek Colour Futures heb ik twee settings met Copper Orange mogen maken. Omdat koper helemaal de kleur van nu is heb ik een aantal producten van koper in de webshop staan in de kleursetting Copper Orange. Je kan het gebruiken als accentkleur en het is dan ook mooi te combineren met pastelroze, wit en grijstinten. Zit er iets voor jou bij? Wees dan snel want het zijn enkele artikelen, op=op!

Orange is the new black

Naast koper houd ik ook erg van oranje in de vorm van terracotta of cognac. Deze kleur in combinatie met zwart zorgt voor veel contrast en diepte. In de kleurstelling Orange is the new Black heb ik verschillende woonaccessoires in de webshop staan zoals oranje vazen, een zwarte karaf én een prachtige vitrine van hout en metaal. Een decoratieladder en plantenhangers

NL : Ik hou zo van planten! In mijn hele huis en studio heb ik dan ook planten staan. Met name vetplanten en cactussen want ik moet wel eerlijk bekennen dat ik niet hele groene vingers heb. Dus planten die makkelijk te onderhouden zijn hebben wel mijn voorkeur. Veel planten heb ik in terracotta potten geplaatst. Ik vind ze zo toch erg mooi uitkomen, de combinatie van het groen en terracotta geeft die mediterraanse/oosterse uitstraling waar ik zo van hou.

Maar uiteraard is het ook leuk om planten op verschillende manieren terug te laten komen in je interieur. Daarom heb ik aan deze houten decoratieladder twee plantenhangers opgehangen. De linker is een macramé planthanger van het merk Zenza met een koperen schaal. Eigenlijk is het natuurlijk mooier als de pot van de plant niet te zien is, maar de plant is nu al zo lekker aan het groeien dat ik hem maar laat zitten! Daarnaast een hanger van gevlochten riet en een terracotta pot die ik hem meegenomen uit een huis in Nubian Village in Aswan waar ik vorig jaar was. Het hele huis hing vol met deze plantenhangers. Ik ben er nog steeds niet helemaal eruit of ik nou gewoon een product uit een persoonlijk huis heb meegenomen of dat het toch een soort winkel was. Maar ik heb de vrouw uiteraard betaald en vriendelijk bedankt. Zou leuk zijn als zij zou zien waar die plantenhanger uiteindelijk terecht komt...

En goed nieuws! De decoratieladders van blank hout zijn weer verkrijgbaar en staan nú in Binti Home Shop! Naast het ophangen van plantenhangers kan je de ladder natuurlijk nog voor veel meer leuke dingen gebruiken. Binnenkort een leuke d.i.y!

Gestreepte Bedouina kelims uit Egypte

Op zoek naar wat kleur in je interieur? Neem dan eens een kijkje in Binti Home Shop bij de geweven kelims uit Egypte. Ze zijn gemaakt van 100% wol in een weverij buiten Cairo. Samen met mijn vader hebben we de mooiste geselecteerd voor de shop. Ze hebben ieder eenzelfde type patroon in een andere kleurstelling. Van elk kleed is er één beschikbaar en hierdoor dus uniek. Deze gestreepte kelims kunnen mooi gecombineerd worden met linnen kussens of kussens met mooie prints. 

Binnenkort ga ik weer naar Egypte om samen met mijn vader te werken aan nieuwe kleden, spannend!

Ik ben zo blij, trots en ik voel me super vereerd! Gisteren ontvingen alle abonnees de nieuwste Vtwonen met daarbij een extra uitgave, het Vtwonen Blogazine. Een tijdje geleden werd ik geselecteerd door Vtwonen en Meet the Blogger om deel uit te maken van dit super inspirerende magazine. In het magazine staan selectie bloggers uit Nederland en buitenland met een inspirerend interview en de meest prachtige foto's. Update Binti Home Shop with my own textile collection

Goodmorning! On this thursday morning I have to give you an update about my Binti Home Shop. I've announced before that the shop with my own collection will go online at Sunday 20th of april. Unfortunatelly this wasn't possible because of the preparations of this shop. The complete collection is ready to be send but the webshop takes a bit more time, and because Im working on different photography and stylingprojects at the same time it's all about some good time management. So I will do my very very best and hope to get this Binti Home Shop online in some days. Ofcourse I will share this with you when the shop is online. Here I share another photo from my Binti Home Collection. Today some grey-green inspiration in a combination with a woven rug (100% wool) from Egypt and a beautiful vase from House Doctor. Soft pink cushions on a light grey bench

Because of some preparations ( and the easter weekend) I decided to launch the new webshop some days later than I've announced before. In the meantime I'll keep sharing the photo's from this new Binti Home Collection with you. Here you can see the soft pink and white combination in the cushions and plaid. A beautiful soft colourpalette from 100% linen, I think it's a good match with light grey. Happy easter!  

Sophisticated interior with darkblue and grey

A basic interior with a lot of whites and wood will have sophisticated atmosphere when you add some black. Black will give the room an elegant and chic look. People think black gives a big contrast and will be more suitable for an interior with industrial elements. But when you make the combination with dark blue and grey the black will be more softer and will connect all the colours together in the room. In this living room you can see my cushions in dark blue and grey made of 100% linen. This sunday my webshop Binti Home Shop will go live, countdown of 5 nights.

This collection consists of cushions and plaids in 20 colours made of 100% linen and woven rugs from Egypt. Today I've had a great day at Fort Festijn where I've showed my collection for the first time, thank you so much for coming and your sweet words. New products in Binti Home Shop

Here's a new Stylemarket item in my blogshop. The rug and tube vases are from House Doctor and the vase/candle from Fest Amsterdam. I love the warm colours in this setting where orange has a big influence. Orange is a warm natural colour and good in combination with natural colours but it matches also beautiful with green and dark blue. The tube vases from House Doctor are an amazing stylingobject where you can put different ribbons trough the holes. In this photography I've chosen for textile yarn. But you can use any yarn or ribbon as you like.You can find the products here. And some news : Because I've got some amazing new products I decided to create a new website for this shop. NEW : Binti Home Shop - Stylemarket

It's been a while since I first thought about this concept. Because of my job as a interiorstylist I can work with the most beautiful products which I'd love to photograph. This concept called Stylemarket is a little blog shop where I will sell products from different brands what I use for styling and photography. It's like a little virtual market where I have only one or two products of each product in stock. Because of the good collaboration with different brands I can create a Stylemarket often. It allows me to create little concepts and different atmospheres where you're able to get this products at home. I'm really curious what you think about this new concept.
