Arabic influences in my bedroom with ocher and grey

Kleur is een belangrijk onderdeel in de projecten die ik doe. Ik werk vaak met kleurenthema's en ik vind dat kleur een essentieel onderdeel is in een ontwerp, styling of fotoshoot. Een langere tijd geleden plaatse ik Colours I See - blogs met hierin kleurenstalen naast een foto. Hierdoor zag je goed het gebruik van kleur in een foto en gaf het de foto nog meer diepte. Vandaag deel ik dan ook graag weer een nieuwe foto voor de Colours I See serie. // The use of colour is really important in my projects. I love to work with colour themes and I think that colour is an essential part in a design, styling or a photoshoot. A little while ago I posted often photo's on my blog in the Colours I see category. In this blogs I show colourpaletes next to a picture. In this way I think you get a good view on how colour works in a picture and also it gave the picture even more contrast. Today I like to share a new picture to add in this Colours I See series.

De laatste week van de Histor verf & advies actie is ingegaan. Heb jij al een persoonlijk advies aangevraagd? Tijdens deze actie van Histor kan je al jouw vragen over je verfproject stellen aan één van de Historstylisten. Ze zitten elke dag klaar tussen 09.00 en 21.00uur om je vragen te beantwoorden via Facetime, Skype of telefoon. Je kan je project direct laten zien aan de stylist via de webcam/camera waarbij je meteen advies krijgt over de kleuren die je kan gebruiken of de verftechnieken.

Histor Perfect Finish

Last week I wrote a blogpost about the live videochat I had with Jelena for the new Histor campaign Histor Verf&Advies which is running at the moment. Since 1 april it's possible to get a free live colouradvice from one of the stylists of Histor. All you have to do is make an appointment on their website. You can ask all your questions about your painting project and when you have a videochat you can show the wall or furniture you'd like to paint. After the chat you will receive an e-mail with the painting instructions and a voucher with €5,- discount on all the paintings from Histor. I just received the Histor Perfect Finish in different colours what I will use for my cupboard project. I just love the colourscheme, as I can say yellow is one of my favourite colours! Like I told you in the previous blogpost I will work with gradient on the shelves at my cupboard and when I see these colours I can't wait to start painting! 3d moodboard inspired by Passionate Argentina from Flexa

A while ago Flexa has launched the new Couleur Locale Collection, containing beautiful colours inspired by a trip to the most beautiful colours in the world. Flexa has developed five colour lines : Passionate Argentina, Energizing Ireland, Positive Thailand, Balanced Finlad Relaxed and Australia. The colours are a reflection of colourful landscapes and cultures. Nice about this collection is the way you can combine the different colours together from each colour line.

Candles in pastel colours from Dille and Kamille

When I'm in town and I see the store Dille & Kamille, I always want to have a look inside. I really love the sophisticated products they're selling in their store.The products are functional but also beautiful for every kitchen or dining table! Some time ago I've borrowed some products for a photoshoot. In a corner I saw some shelves full of candles in beautiful colours. I couldn't let them just there so i've bought 8 candles in four colours; yellow, green, coral and light pink. It's so nice to use as styling in your home, to light them by darker days or give as a gift!

Lente kleuren tijdens stylingklus voor Media Parade Sanoma

Net terug uit Milaan, wat een bijzondere stad vol inspiratie! Vanaf a.s. maandag zal er elke dag een trend of locatie uitgelicht worden, hou de blog dan ook in de gaten voor de dagelijkse Milaan inspiratie.

Afgelopen maandag zijn we met het vliegtuig vertrokken naar Milaan. In de ochtend had ik nog een leuke stylingklus bij Sanoma Media. Stylist Petra Lammers heb ik vorig jaar ook geholpen met de opbouw van de Mediaparade, zie hier het resultaat van toen. Ondanks dat ik een halve dag kon helpen omdat ik mijn vliegtuig moest halen vond ze het toch erg leuk als ik haar kwam helpen. Zie hieronder het resultaat van de bloemenstyling voor de VIP ruimte tijdens de Mediaparade verwerkt in de wekelijkse Photography + Colours format.
