Arabic influences in my bedroom with ocher and grey

Kleur is een belangrijk onderdeel in de projecten die ik doe. Ik werk vaak met kleurenthema's en ik vind dat kleur een essentieel onderdeel is in een ontwerp, styling of fotoshoot. Een langere tijd geleden plaatse ik Colours I See - blogs met hierin kleurenstalen naast een foto. Hierdoor zag je goed het gebruik van kleur in een foto en gaf het de foto nog meer diepte. Vandaag deel ik dan ook graag weer een nieuwe foto voor de Colours I See serie. // The use of colour is really important in my projects. I love to work with colour themes and I think that colour is an essential part in a design, styling or a photoshoot. A little while ago I posted often photo's on my blog in the Colours I see category. In this blogs I show colourpaletes next to a picture. In this way I think you get a good view on how colour works in a picture and also it gave the picture even more contrast. Today I like to share a new picture to add in this Colours I See series.

Slaapkamer

Op deze foto zie je een stukje van mijn slaapkamer. Een prachtige lichte ruimte met balken en een hoog dak. De vloer en wanden zijn allemaal wit. Ik heb gekozen voor een bed zonder hoofdbord omdat ik hier in de toekomst zelf een achterwand wil gaan maken. Het sprei over het bed bracht ik mee uit één van de souks in Marrakech. Toen ik daar afgelopen februari was kwam ik de meest prachtige producten tegen en dit geweven plaid sprong ertussen uit voor mij! Uiteraard door de prachtige kleur maar ook de kwaliteit van het plaid is prachtig. Naast het bed staat een nachtkastje van HK Living met hierop een nieuwe tafellamp van Zenza. // In this picture above you can see a part of my bedroom. A lovely bright room with beams and a high roof. The floor and walls are all white. Ive chosen for a bed without a headboard because I want to create a wall behind my bed myself. The bedcover I brought from an old souk in Marrakech. When I visited Marrakech last february I saw all those beautiful products in amazing colours. This bedcover really caught my eye. Ofcourse of the colour ocher, but also the quality is good. Next to the bed you can see the nightstand from HK Living with the new table lamp from Zenza on it.

Binnenkort geef ik een kijkje in de rest van de slaapkamer. Eerst ga ik nog even een wandje verven met één van de kleuren uit de Colour Creations serie van Flexa.
