Design Icons Amsterdam 2014

I just love the photo above. I took this photo last saturday when I've visited Design Icons in Amsterdam. I love this 'Design Icons' in the picture above because of the beautiful pure materials and colours, it's a good combination in this raw old building the Kromhouthal in Amsterdam. This stand was from Walter Design, this company is located in The Hague and specialised with design from the '50's, 60's and '70's.

From Italy, company Vintage Domus brought these gorgeous yellow fauteuils. Beautiful with this new yellow upholstery, but far above my budget. I simply love the shape, the legs and ofcourse the colour of these fauteuils. Designed by Augusto Bozzi for Saporiti.
This lovely setting was from dutch company VanOns. This fauteuil on the first photo called the Papa Bear Chair designed by Svend Skipper, isn't it nice in combination with the AJ floorlamp designed by Arne Jacobsen and the small table in Tomado style?
With their love for vintage design Etienne and Martin started their company Mass Modern Design a few years ago. Located in a huge showroom in Roosendaal they sell their beautiful products. These gorgeous design deserves a throne and that's how they styled their stand on this fair.

All the way from Italy, Crastini & Carli showed some gorgeous lamps in their stand. This Manachella ( Little Nun ) lamp has been designed between 1960-1970. I just love the simplicity of the design of this lamp and would love to hang this lamp in my home. But I didn't buy these and I think I need a good search to find this lamp somewhere else one day...

It was love at first sight when I saw these two Kembo Arm Chairs designed by Willem Gispen. Company Tussenin brought these chairs to the fair in these beautiful pastel colours. They sold them by a set but unfortunately it was a little above my budget. Im glad I took them on a photo so I can secretly dream I've bought them for my home. Tussenin is located in Asten-Heusden and sell a good mix of design and brocante in their shop.
